This 30L professional M-class dust extractor has a high performance motor and turbine, which creates 250 mbar vacuum and 4 500 l/min air flow. The AutoStart function increases the lifetime of the motor and reduces noise. 

A flat top design gives space for storage and large wheels allow better maneuverability. Convenient filter cleaning delivers a consistent performance, and air-flow sensor indicates when air flow falls below optimal. Hose and cable storage ensures easy transportation.

Mirka® Dust Extractor 1230 M is suitable for both dry and wet applications (remove the dust bag before wet use and clean filter before and after wet use). Mirka antistatic hose is recommended (not included).

Dust Class

Dust Class M (medium risk).

For professional users within collision repair, construction, and woodworking that sand for instance hard wood, plaster, putty, latex and oil paints, etc. that cause medium risk dust. The occupational exposure limit (OEL) for this kind of dust is > 0.1 mg/m3.

This means that the dust extractor must be able to retain 99.9% of the dust.
The air flow has to be minimum Vmin = 20 m/s in the suction hose.

M class dust extractors may not be used for:

• Hazardous dust with OEL values < 0.1 mg/m3
• Hot materials (burning cigarettes, hot ash, etc.)
• Flammable, explosive, aggressive liquids (e.g. petrol, solvents, acids, alkalis etc.)
• Flammable, explosive dust (e.g. magnesium or aluminium dust etc.)
